Here are some of the "Journeys of Hope" from a few of our group members;
may they fill your heart full of fresh hope regarding your own journey.
“As I struggled with being bipolar, within my church, I often felt judged because they would pray for me and I still struggled. As well meaning Christians they spiritualized my illness to a point where I felt alone and conflicted; which drove my family and me away from the church and the lord. When I heard the commercial about fresh hope last year I reluctantly came, fearful of what I might experience. Now, one year later fresh hope has restored my hope that god still loves me. I don’t feel like God’s against me and once again I have hope.” Leigh
Leigh's Journey of Hope...
“I came to fresh hope after my son’s hospital release. He was diagnosed as bipolar. After his release the father son relationship was non-existent. So, I sought out a Christian support that would focus on the solution and not the problem. Fresh hope has provided just that. And now my son and I have the best relationship we have ever had!” Bob
Tracey's Journey of Hope...
“I’ve struggled with clinical depression for over 20 years. I’ve been involved in many different types of groups over the years and I have to say that none have touched me quite the way that fresh hope has. For me, it’s been the perfect blend of education, spiritual guidance and warm fellowship. It’s made me want to attend and given me the courage to really connect with others. “ Tracey
Sandy's Journey of Hope...
“I have always suffered from depression. Then four years ago I was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. I felt so alone for so long and then found fresh hope. It has given me a safe place I can share with others my struggles and successes. I now don’t feel alone and can always count on fresh hope being there for me.” Sandy
